Disneyland Cast Exclusive released in August 2003 as part of the "Main Street Windows" Pin of the Month series. It depicts the window for the fictional "Plaza School of Art," which can be seen in Disneyland above the Main Street Photo Supply Company.
Significance and Instructors
The pin honors three legendary Disney artists—known as "Disney Legends"—whose names are inscribed on the window at the park:
Herbert Ryman: An artist and Imagineer who created the first overall rendering of Disneyland to show to investors. He also worked on the design of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
John Hench: A long-time Imagineer and executive who contributed to nearly every Disney theme park project, ranging from Tomorrowland to Epcot.
Peter Ellenshaw: A renowned matte painter and special effects artist who worked on classic Disney films like Mary Poppins and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
